Four Kenyan Senators Stranded In Germany After Spending Their Travel Allowances


Four Kenyan senators are currently stranded in Berlin, Germany for lack of fare back to their country as reported by Kenyan Newspaper, Peoples Daily.

The senators identified as Charles Kibiru (Kirinyaga), Loitiptip Anuar (Lamu), Christopher Langat (Bomet) and Mwangi Kithomi (Nyandarua), had gone for an annual trade conference which was cancelled due Coronavirus outbreak against the initial date Monday.

The report further claimed that the four politicians already spent all their per diems before leaving Nairobi and the hotel their had already booked refused to refund their payment.

However, Senate speaker Ken Lusaka rubbished the claims saying the four are held up in Germany due to the limited flights to Nairobi.
